Don’t be Vague!
Don't be vague! Time and time again I hear from Japanese women about how vague Japanese men are. Even Japanese men have told me that their partners have said this. Men (perhaps women too) need to learn to be direct and detailed about what they want in a relationship. A good relationship is not based on guessing about your partner's feelings. Don't imagine about your partner's feelings, ASK! One thing that I've observed (I have no statistical support for this)is that people who can reason in English, not just speak English, communicate better in Japanese. The same may be true if someone speaks another language other than Japanese, but I don't know. One thing is sure; 'vagueness' isn't a positive attribute in growing, loving relationship.
