Chocolate, Shopping, & Sex
Few women want to get fat and waste money. But millions of women do it all the time by eating chocolate and getting fat, and by buying clothes that they then get tired of. It's like an addiction, with the end result being an emotional emptiness that has to be satisfied again to the detriment of one's waistline or pocketbook. Curiously enough, it seems that women who are sexually satisfied don't go on chocolate eating binges and shopping sprees as often. Keep in mind that sexual satisfaction and having sex aren't equal.
The Awakening of the Japanese Woman
Writers, filmmakers, and the general public have, for some time, been intrigued with the possibility of A.I. (Artificial Intelligence); so much so that serious concerns have been explored and dramatized regarding the theoretical and imagined problems that could be encountered with its reality. The concern most commonly expressed about the development of A.I. is whether there could be a potential for self-awareness, and then an ensuing struggle for recognition. But, what should be of much greater concern to the Japanese public is the awakening of Japanese women's intelligence, and their potential to become a force for change. This very awakening may well be unfolding before the Japanese public, albeit very slowly, in the guise of an emerging, modern Japanese woman.

Of recent exploit by the astute Japanese businessman is the hitori sama" phenomenon. Hitori means alone, the and sama give it formal tone. Being alone is quite profitable in Japan.
Proof!! Women don’t Need men!
I'm not sure whether or not to believe this, but Hideo Yamanaka, a doctor at the Toranomon Hibiya Clinic in Tokyo says some women may have a potentially debilitating disease whereby they may have orgasms without what might be considered natural sexual stimulation. On being a feminist in Tokyo
By definition, feminist: a person who supports the belief that women should have the same rights and opportunities as men. Well I guess I am, but for some reason when a Japanese man says that I'm a feminist, I want to say, "I'm not a feminist, I'm just using common sense!"
Just What Do (Some) Japanese Men Think of Women?
The cover of a very popular Japanese women's magazine (an an, dated 2006.5.31, No. 1513) has a nude woman lying down with one of her legs in the air and a pink Valentine heart where her vagina is. Strangely, this monthly magazine isn't considered pornographic, and it features a wide range of life-style articles.
