Japanese women, like other women, want to feel special, especially when going out. There are also some characteristics specific to Japanese women that can change a regular date into an extraordinary one.

Where To Go On A First Date (part 2)

This is Part 2 on ideas of where to go for a first date.

 

Dinner – Tiny Restaurants – Hidden Away: You can find these all over.  Little “family owned” operations that usually cater to locals and have “regulars”.  As first dates go, these are generally a hit, especially if you are a regular or semi-regular.

Imagine you walking in with your date and the owner says “Hey Tony! How ya doin!? You are automatically elevated to VIP status.

 

First Date Rating: If you are a regular or know the staff and the atmosphere is appropriate, these are first date winners.

Where To Go On A First Date (part 1)

Congratulations. You got her to say yes for a date. Now what…

 

There are many activities you can do and, depending on the circumstances that you got her to say yes, the choices may be obvious. One of my first dates was to a Sushi restaurant after she asked me if I liked sushi.

 

Other times the choice may not be so cut and dry and you have to rely on the traditional first date places. I have made a list of some of the first date places I took Japanese women on and give my feedback on the enjoyment, impact, and overall outcome of the date (i.e. did it lead to a second).

Romantic night out

A very romantic place to eat the Silver.g in Ebisu, Tokyo. Course menu around 4500yen per person. I had a great time and the staff was attentive. It was hilarious, because the waitstaff couldn't light the candles on the birthday cake at first. His lighter didn't work, it was comical.
